CK Barlow will build a piece before our eyes (or behind our backs as we mix and mingle) based on sounds of ultra-quiet electrical devices that we were never meant to hear. The Proxemics are an autonomous new music project founded by Alex Neville. (The brilliant Dullards, A. Barnhouse, Audible Whispering 1/2 Quartet) In essence, a solo project. Listeners should expect sonics delivered from fretted strings, voices, samplers and other more-relevant, less-tangible sources. Dino J.A. Deane will perform with his new hybrid instrument, the LapSteel Dulcimer. Yes!
