Behind this name is one of the most dynamic figures of the French electro-pop scene. Elmapi’s recently released second album “Arcane Electronique” (mixed by Andy Moor of the Ex) has been lauded as a raw and hypnotizing mix, situated somewhere between “... Stereolab and Ming, it makes the head spin” - Abus Dangereux. Upon return from her 20 city US tour, her off kilter sound expanded when she teamed up with the vampler Matterlink who improvises shots from b-movies with the original sounds attached (www.vampler.net/matterlink). Recent concerts of the duo have been explosive, alternating between the driving “pop-concrete” compositions of Elmapi and the sampled sounds and voices of Matterlink’s “live cinema”.

Driven and inspired by hip hop culture, Goodwin strives to emanate a freshness, a living beat and rhythm, an improvisational flow. He’s interested in exploring beyond the current modes of spoken word and oriented “hip hop theater”. He is an award-winning poet, hip hop playwright, recording artist, and teacher committed to making art that incites, inspires, and engages.
