High Mayhem -- a multi-media art collective, operating from a space in the middle of Santa Fe, New Mexico

This page: Heads ups about events that aren't very next but are coming up sometime in possible futures. It could be the second-to-next thing or some projections, advanced anticipations and/or pipe-dreams. We'll continue to add to this page as the present informs a possible future... The question is: to what extent we actually produce possible outcomes based on combinations of free-will, determinism and functions of cause and effect. Empowered or powerless? You DECIDE. In fact you are FORCED to CHOOSE.

Simulate Sensual (Santa Fe)
Simulate Sensual is releasing their first album, Simulate Sensual.
“Biological matter forms the make-up of us two. We hail from our instruments in very precarious increments. After the meteors shattered, we rained down to create venomous clatters. As long as thoughts are spilled out, well then nothing else matters. I write this before you, Ultraviolet in virtue. The only pain to be had in life is Betty projecting into her mic. Understand the nomenclature and other lovely things of that nature. How often in life do you see a white woman and black man creating art together, circulating notes for beautiful jams? We listen to sensual music to simulate galactical movements. Bliss is the ultimate goal, it permeates from our souls. But that's another story told when time permits for now we hold.”

HEALTH (Los Angeles)
Yes, they’re back.
Jake met Jupiter in College. John met Jake in a guitar store. Jared was drawn to the fold by the way of internet courtship. It was simple. No one peddled their ass for smack. No one lived under a bridge.

There was however quite a bit of talk about music, Specifically British 60’s pop, Krautrock, gamelan, noise, and minimalism. Jake and Jupiter had guitars. John has a bass. Jared wanted to play drums. Now there is a band. There is also still a considerable amount of talking…often times more than there is playing. Topics characteristically range from art, food, films, sex, music, animals, drugs, politics and sleeping. The talk goes like this:
John is enthusiastic but passive-aggressive.
Jared is open-minded but dismissive.
Jupiter is interested but distant.
Jake is sentimental but condescending.

These things may or may not have an effect on the music that gets made.www.myspace.com/healthmusic
